2013 Registration is NOW OPEN!
Columbia Gorge Marathon and Half Marathon Registration
We are excited to announce the opening of the 2013 Columbia Gorge Marathon Registration. With the exception of a $5 increase for the Half Marathon Team competition, we are freezing prices this year and they will be the same as 2012. As an added bonus to get you registered and training we are offering a New Year’s Special. Register by December 31st and receive a “gold” registration. This entitles you to an additional $10 off the registration price; a free pair of Columbia Gorge Marathon socks, and most importantly an opportunity for a refund should you need to cancel. Talk about insurance! We understand it is a long ways out so we are offering the opportunity to anyone who registers before December 31st a full refund should you get injured, have a scheduling conflict, or just plain don’t get in shape in time.

I don’t know if I’ll ever understand why people run marathons in big cities with big crowds when there is a Columbia River Marathon that BEATS everything in beauty, challenge, organization (and even great weather) … Not enough words to describe…all Incredible! Huge Thanks!
Last year the Columbia Gorge Marathon and Half Marathon saw runners from 36 out of the 50 states compete. That is incredible, but this year we want to go bigger. We want to see runners from all 50 states attend. So we have created the State of the Nation Challenge. Be the first runner from your state to register and receive a free Columbia Gorge Marathon long sleeved tech shirt. Shirts for those that win will be available at packet pickup. These shirts will be custom and only available for those who win “their” state. We will update contest winners on our Facebook page as well as our website.
The Breakaway Promotions team is now deep into planning and getting ready for 2013 as we are on the verge of ringing in the New Year. Thanks to all of you who participated last year as we had nearly 1200 runners pounding the pavement on one of the most scenic marathon courses in the U.S.
What better way to ring in the New Year and have a fitness goal!
